Trip to Kautokeino width snowmobile

Service Description

We start from Suolovuopmi mountain lodge and follow the old historic post road towards Kautokeino. The trip will go in varied landscapes over plateaus, birch forests and river beds. This tour combines fantastic landscapes topped with a Sami guide who will tell a little about the Sami, upbringing, and that if it is suitable for the reindeer grazing district, there are opportunities to stop visiting the reindeer herd. In Kautokeino there will be lunch and we will drive some sightseeing to see Sami settlement before we finally visit the renowned Juhls silversmith. It will be possible for those who want to explore the city center on their own on foot before we start the return. This is a trip of a total of 160 km (round trip) in one day, so if you want a real scooter tour and still experience Kautokeino then this is the trip for you. LEVEL OF COMPLEXITY: Suitable for most without any snowmobile experience The tour leads mostly over flat terrain, with some rugged terrain and it’s quite easy to drive also for inexperienced drivers.Valid driving license needed!
